September 4 2008-
We are pleased to welcome Heather Hamilton, Occupational Therapist, to our staff on November 1, 2008. Heather brings extensive knowledge and experience in complex custom seating; she is also skilled in completing home assessments and discharge assessments for home readiness.
Sandra Schlup, H.B.P.E (Health Promo) and Myrtha Hofer, P.T.A, attended CanFitPro in Toronto in August 2008. In addition, Sandra attended the Pre-Conference Course, Resist-A-Ball, Level 1.
Tammy Morrell completed "Arthritis Instructor Certification" in WaterArt in June 2008 providing her with an even broader scope of hydrotherapy activities and exercises.
All staff members attended the London and District Brain Injury Association Annual Conference, Open Minds, Exploring Neuroplasticity and Non-Traditional Therapies in June 2008. Featured speakers included Dr. Letherin speaking on visual disturbances caused by brain injury.
Cory Birk, M. Sc. (PT) CAT (C) is a trainer again this year for the Listowel Cyclones Junior B Hockey Team
