This year, we listened to excellent speakers on:

- Guidelines for treatment and intervention in moderate and severe traumatic brain injury
- Mild traumatic brain injury in sports, daily life and military life
- Technology to prevent head trauma, restore function and enable independence

We attended workshops on:
- Behaviour management strategies for challenging behaviours following traumatic brain injury
- A team based approach to early intervention and return-to-work for individuals with mild traumatic brain injury
- Best techniques for report writing and charting

It was an excellent day with nationally and internationally recognized speakers.

The members of our team at New Horizons Rehab attend courses frequently through the year on Brain injury (including concussion management) as well as orthopeadic conditions. It remains our pleasure to assist our clients in their recovery from injury.
