June Williamson

June Williamson,
Registered Physiotherapist
B.Sc.(P.T.), C.A.F.C.I.

June graduated from the University of Toronto in 1980 with Honors with Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy.  June has extensive experience working with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and has a special interest in acupuncture.  She has extensive experience working with injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents including soft tissue injuries, multiple trauma and acquired brain injury.  June has worked in a variety of settings such as Stratford General Hospital, Perth County Home Care, Director of Physiotherapy Louise Marshall Hospital in Mt. Forest, and Director of Physiotherapy in Palmerston and District Hospital.  In 1993, she established her own private practice, New Horizons Rehabilitation Services Inc.  June has participated in many continuing education programs.  June has achieved McKenzie Level D, Cyriax Level 3, and NDT Level 1. She has been performing acupuncture since 1997, and completed her certification with The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI) in 2007. June has also completed several Acquired Brain Injury Courses and attended many professional conferences on Brain Injury, Sport and Orthopaedic Injuries and Auto Insurance.

Melissa Fussell

Melissa Fussell,

Melissa graduated from the University of Waterloo with her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature.  She has worked for New Horizons for several years, collaborating with the physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists as a physiotherapist assistant, as well as her new role involving marketing, advertising and communications.  Melissa has attended many professional conferences on Brain Injury, Sport and Orthopaedic Injuries and Auto Insurance.  She can be contacted at melissa@newhorizonsrehab.com if you require any additional information on New Horizons Rehabilitation Services Inc.

Alexandra Brohman

Alexandra Brohman,
Registered Physiotherapist

Alexandra completed her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Western University in 2014. She moved to Calgary, Alberta where she worked as an assistant in busy private practice physiotherapy clinics. She completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of Alberta in December 2018. Her clinical placements provided her with a wide variety of experiences in Physical Therapy. Her favourite area of practice has always been orthopaedics, but she also has a strong interest in Vestibular Physiotherapy, helping patients with Dizziness, Vertigo, and Imbalance. She is completing her level 1 ortho exam in September 2019, and will be starting her Level 1 Acupuncture course with Acupuncture Canada at the end of summer 2019. She looks forward to taking courses in the treatment of concussions, as well as further training in Vestibular Physiotherapy in the near future.

Graham Scholl

Graham Scholl,

Graham completed his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology in 2014 at University of Western of Ontario, then completed his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2017 at Robert Gordon University in Scotland. Since graduating, Graham has completed courses for acupuncture, functional dry needling, shoulder assessment and treatment, and the CPA Orthopaedic Division level 1 exam.

His treatment approach is patient-centered and involves combining education, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and active self-management to help patients achieve their goals and get back to the activities they enjoy. Graham has a special interest in working with athletes and sports injuries, but enjoys working with patients of all ages and
backgrounds.

Ravneet Singh

Ravneet Singh,
Registered Physiotherapist

Ravneet completed his physiotherapy degree from Lovely Professional University, India in 2020, and his Master of Science in Kinesiology at Western University in 2022. Since graduating, he has worked in acute care settings and private physiotherapy clinics. Ravneet's areas of interest include chronic myofascial pain, tendon injuries, fibromyalgia, developmental delays, autism, dizziness and vertigo. Additionally, he has an interest in participating in research and scholarly activities on chronic pain. During his spare time, Ravneet likes to read philosophy books, go camping and ice skating.  

Tammy Morrell

Tammy Morrell,

Tammy graduated in 1994 from the University of Western Ontario and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Physical Education, Faculty of Kinesiology. Tammy provides service to clients as a Rehabilitation Support Worker and enjoys assisting with physiotherapy treatments, providing prescription orthotic assessments, as well as assisting in community rehabilitation, such as hydrotherapy and at public exercise facilities. Programs established in the pool are specific to the client's needs to improve strength, flexibility and conditioning requirements. Tammy has been trained to establish and progress programming under the supervision of the Physiotherapist. Tammy has participated in continuing education programs including WaterART, MET, Neurotherapy, Electrotherapy Modalities, and has attended numerous conferences on brain injury. Tammy joined New Horizons Rehabilitation Service Inc. in 1996. She has experience, as a Rehabilitation Therapist, following programs established by Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology for individuals recovering from Brain Injury, Orthopaedic Injuries and Spinal Cord injuries. She has followed programming established by Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology for individuals with mild to severe Traumatic Brain Injury.

Lorie Vogel

Lorie Vogel,

Lorie graduated from Redeemer University College in 2010 with her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. In April 2013, Lorie became a registered kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Lorie joined New Horizons Rehabilitation Inc. in August 2014 as full-time Clinic Assistant and Kinesiologist. She has experience working as a physiotherapy assistant assisting in treatment programs. She enjoys assisting as well in community rehabilitation at public exercise facilities. Lorie works under the supervision of the physiotherapist to provide and progress exercise programs which are suitable for individual needs.

Cheryl D. Lindsay

Cheryl D. Lindsay,

Cheryl graduated from Minot State University, North Dakota in 1998, with Master of Science Degree in Communication Disorders. Cheryl has an extensive background working with pediatric and school-aged children with articulation disorders, delays in understanding (receptive) and/or use of (expressive) language, stuttering, voice problems, at risk infants due to prenatal and birth complications, hearing impairments, cleft lip/palate, autism/pervasive development disorder, social language problems, oral motor and/or feeding difficulties and learning or other developmental disabilities. Cheryl has also worked in the community with adults, providing rehabilitation for motor speech disorders, stroke, traumatic brain injury, swallowing disorders, stuttering and voice problems. Cheryl has lived and practiced in the Grey-Bruce area since 1999 in a wide variety of clinical settings. She has received specialized training in several Hanen® courses, and engaged in continuing education related to autism spectrum disorders, oral motor disorders and auditory processing disorders. She has owned and operated a private practice since 2003. She received the S.Co.B.E. Award for Entrepreneur of the Year from the Saugeen Business Development Corporation in 2009. Cheryl is an active board member with the Grey Bruce Youth Literacy Council. She regularly mentors high school, college and university students interested in pursuing speech therapy as a career.

Janine Taylor

Janine Taylor,

Janine Taylor is a speech language pathologist who earned her Master of Clinical Sciences degree from Western University in London, Ontario in 2013. Her experience has primarily been in schools, where she has assisted clients with various speech and language needs, such as receptive (understanding) and expressive (use of) language delays, articulation/phonological disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), literacy, social emotional development, fluency/stuttering, and voice concerns. Janine has worked with individuals with a variety of neurodivergent learning needs.

Janine is certified in the Hanen programs ‘It Takes Two to Talk’ and ‘More than Words’. Additionally, she has completed training in the ‘Kaufman – Speech to Language Protocol’ and ‘PROMPT’.

Betty O’Rourke

Betty O’Rourke,
Clinic Assistant

Betty is a part-time Clinic Assistant. Betty has greatly enjoyed meeting and working with all the clients, learning new techniques and being part of the dynamic team. Betty has extensive experience in the dental, optometric and education fields as a Clinic Assistant and Administrative Assistant. She has very much enjoyed doing a bit of both of these things at New Horizons Rehabilitation Services Inc. In addition, Betty has done a significant amount of volunteer work at local health care centres, helping patients with various health challenges. She has personal family connections to physical rehab and the importance of overall well-being. She has also added many workplace-specific courses to her resume over her career. Finally, she is a keen volunteer in many different local community activities and is a mentor within the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. Betty looks forward to being “with you all the way” in achieving your goals.
